Oh No! Oh No! It's Off To Work I Go by Charles E Minshall
___________________________
Pushed rudely out
Of a nice warm bed,
Cold footprints on the back
In bright, bright red.
Double skid marks
Accross the floor,
Ten finger nail scratches
On the door.
Two deep furrows
Accross the lawn,
For crying out loud,
It's barely dawn.
Stuffed in the car, engine started
And put in gear,
I can't believe
I called you Dear.
Okay! Okay!
To work I'll go.
Against my wishes,
I guess you know.
