God's Poetry

The most lovingly created rhyme the Earth has ever heard.
We were written long ago into His heavenly poem,
To create a sweetness on the Earth until He calls us home.
We are God's own poetry composed in perfect love,
Verse by verse a sonnet that He writes from up above.
And he'll rewrite us till we're perfect, for that's how much He cares,
He thought to write us into the beauty that He shares.
We are God's own poetry, a page of pure delight,
To Him who holds the universe yet keeps us in His sight.
He who writes the sunset and every songbird's song,
