DROUGHT REMEDY

by Charles E Minshall

______________________

If your lawns are brown
In the year of a drought,
Green them with ball teams
Spitting about.

Nine men in front,
Nine men in back,
Will surely make up
For the water lack.

I HAD to read this one since we are well into baseball season. I wonder what tobacco does to the lawns. Fun poem, Chaz.
