greener

so you jump in your car and take a ride
you get out and look about to see
it's not as green as it seemed to be
it was much greener where you were
so you travel back there just to be sure
but on this side it's not as green as blue
and the promise of green didn't hold true
you long for that other glowing scene
but its much too green to be seen,
