Take A Stand
by Cathlyn Cartier
against our foes, because divided we will fall.
and remember that freedom was bought with precious blood.
because the world is focused on us, and our enemies are watchful for any weakness.
our trust in God and His guidance will carry us through.
in God's promise and waiver not from the path set before you,
for "where two or more are gathered in My name, there will I be also."

i think it shouldnt just be any stand, but a stand you really believe in and can fight for.

Very positive. And well, a concept of greater goodness, one ought to get internalized. Well done.

I had an impression of when this was written before I even noticed the date of September, 2001. But this poem still rings true today, and every day.
