red mondays. and slipper days

swim season started today...
so i can't really feel my legs right now..
but that's alright. you know?

on sunday i didn't wear my glasses all day. i decided i like it better that way. sometimes, being able to see the world in all it's clarity isn't such a great thing.
mostly, i prefer seeing it the way i want to see it, which is much simpler and fuzzy around the edges..
like a frayed pair of jeans that are comfy and broken in already.
or one of the those pictures that's all soft on the edges... you know?
so now i'm just going on and on about the same thing
and it's annoying
and kind of sounding cliche
really
so... what else is new?
today was definately a monday sort of day
by the way:
i decided that mondays are red days and ALSO slipper days..
meaning you have to wear something red (because everyone looks good in red) and also comfy shoes.
because mondays are hard enough to get through without the snug sneakers and pre-picked out outfit
actually, i never pick out what i'm going to wear the night before
but that's besides the point
the point is. feeling good about yourself regardless of the way you look. sort of...
well that's not it exactly. but hopefully you get the picture
or not. that's cool too.

sooo....
i painted a mural on friday
or helped paint one
i did the octopus, the jellyfish and a really bloated looking orange fish thing. cartoon. or whatever
but it was fun
and i got yellow paint in my hair
which didn't concern me much but it bothered other people

and right now i should be doing my english homework
but who actually enjoys writing research papers?
what happened to "write what you know" --- what you already know..? or what you will know after you research it and stuff... etc??

so ironic. that i don't like my english class much
but i like writing poetry.. maybe it's because we are writing nonfiction in that class... i liked vignettes the best.
those were fun. kind of poetical i guess. if you think about it.

we had spaghetti and meatsauce for dinner tonight. and see's candy. awesome

okeedokee. off to do homeworks.. fun stuff.
