We can't wait for July to arrive.That is our month of big traveling plans of which the highlight will be Colorado and specifically to see Railroad Earth at Red Rocks and The Boulder Theatre July 12-13 [http://www.bouldertheater.com/event/railroad-earth-2].Then we will travel back east in time for FloydFest July25-28 to see them again along with other great bands[http://www.floydfest.com/] The RV has worked out well for us in having duality of use-recreational and practical.When we are not traveling/exploring, we are helping out with our grandchildren[like the mobile inlaws, lol]

I love reading her poetry.This poem especially touches:
Armed
GIVE me to-night to hide me in the shade,
That neither moon nor star
May see the secret place where I am laid,
Nor watch me from afar.
Let not the dark its prying ghosts employ
To peer on my retreat,
And see the fragments of my broken toy
Lie scattered at my feet.
I fashioned it, that idol of my own,
Of metal strange and bright;
I made my toy a god--I raised a throne
To honour my delight.
This haunted byway of the grove was lit
With lamps my hand had trimmed,
Before the altar in the midst of it
I kept their flame undimmed.
My steps turned ever to the hidden shrine;
Aware or unaware,
My soul dwelt only in that spot divine,
And now a wreck lies there.
Give me to-night to weep--when dawn is spread
Beyond the heavy trees,
And in the east the day is heralded
By cloud-wrought companies,
I shall have gathered up my heart's desire,
Broken, destroyed, adored,
And from its splinters, in a deathless fire,
I shall have forged a sword.

Update: Where we are 11/02/2012 12:56 a.m.
Currently,we are staying a few days in Colusa(http://www.colusacasino.com/northern-california-casino-resorts-hotel/). We are not gamblers.The casino just happened to be near where we were driving at nightfall with rain beginning and the hotel is very nice. However, the casino gave us 25$ free play and we plan to go have a little fun but I must say, this is not my kind of place. It seems like alot of senior citizens here spending their social security and disability checks(its payday and they can spend their money their own way). We are resting up and getting over slight colds we acquired after attending the 2ND Annual Hangtown Halloween Ball held in Placerville, Ca.http://www.hangtownhalloween.com/(It was without a doubt the best concert festival I have ever attended in my entire life). We stayed a few extra days after the venue was over with permission from the promoter because our temp rv license tags disappeared and we were waiting for the permanent tags that my brother was sending UPS and finally arrived Tues. We left from there to visit a musician friend who has a little place in Camptonville-beautiful and no WIFI or cell phone service either.And now we are in Colusa until tomorrow, trying to gel new plans, which is to continue driving west to Fort Bragg on the coast,on up to Legett to hike and see the redwoods, then drive the coastline and see San Francisco and on down until we find an RV Park on the beach to stay 3-4 days.I am glad I am here and not on the East coast(which also brings back unwanted memories of when we lost our home to hurricane Floyd)!The worst that has happened to me lately for me to deal with is an rv toilet not flushing correctly due to an inferior grade rv toilet paper and a damaged ladder due to backing into a barn!Well, gotta go for now...Wade is calling me....we are heading to the casino
ps- too many pictures to post just yet...I have incredible pictures of America, many captured directly through the front windsheild of the rv....but it requires more time than I have right now.....chow I am currently Awestruck
