well. that was an exciting episode in the life of emily tong
my dog just got sprayed by a skunk
in the mouth we assume, since she was drooling and foaming like nothing else
eww..
i feel like i smell really bad.

red mondays. and slipper days

swim season started today...
so i can't really feel my legs right now..
but that's alright. you know?

on sunday i didn't wear my glasses all day. i decided i like it better that way. sometimes, being able to see the world in all it's clarity isn't such a great thing.
mostly, i prefer seeing it the way i want to see it, which is much simpler and fuzzy around the edges..
like a frayed pair of jeans that are comfy and broken in already.
or one of the those pictures that's all soft on the edges... you know?
so now i'm just going on and on about the same thing
and it's annoying
and kind of sounding cliche
really
so... what else is new?
today was definately a monday sort of day
by the way:
i decided that mondays are red days and ALSO slipper days..
meaning you have to wear something red (because everyone looks good in red) and also comfy shoes.
because mondays are hard enough to get through without the snug sneakers and pre-picked out outfit
actually, i never pick out what i'm going to wear the night before
but that's besides the point
the point is. feeling good about yourself regardless of the way you look. sort of...
well that's not it exactly. but hopefully you get the picture
or not. that's cool too.

sooo....
i painted a mural on friday
or helped paint one
i did the octopus, the jellyfish and a really bloated looking orange fish thing. cartoon. or whatever
but it was fun
and i got yellow paint in my hair
which didn't concern me much but it bothered other people

and right now i should be doing my english homework
but who actually enjoys writing research papers?
what happened to "write what you know" --- what you already know..? or what you will know after you research it and stuff... etc??

so ironic. that i don't like my english class much
but i like writing poetry.. maybe it's because we are writing nonfiction in that class... i liked vignettes the best.
those were fun. kind of poetical i guess. if you think about it.

we had spaghetti and meatsauce for dinner tonight. and see's candy. awesome

okeedokee. off to do homeworks.. fun stuff.

wow.. jsut read jon's comment. i cannot believe that anyone could sleep without a pillow. omg.
yah. so anyways...
pretty exciting day. i guess.. and now it's raining again. or it was anyways
i went for a walk in the rain today. i probably shouldn't have made my dog come with me... she was pretty unhappy.
soaked. i like to walk in puddles... doesn't everybody?

i was driving with my sister earlier. and there was a sign posted: fire warning is LOW today. thank you smokey. couldn't have figured that out on my own... lol

who is smokey the bear?

i had tostadas for lunch today. then it rained and i got wet

well... whoever's reading this should check out freederekwebb.com.. it's basically awesome. he's giving away his cd (which i think is pretty good). so instead of paying for the cd, you make a donation to some organizations on the site.. very original right?
yah that guy seems pretty awesome.

i'm reading Emma by Jane Austen. honestly, it's probably the hardest book i've ever had to decipher. amazing language, but i don't understand half of it, you know?

i swear my life really is more exciting than it seems right now. i hope anyways. it just sort of sounds pathetic because i can't think, that's all... hmmm

one of those days

it's sort of a quiet day. today.. if you know what i mean
and you might. but you might not. whatever. not like it affects me.
but i've been sort of tired and out of sorts today
i tripped 5 times in the hall. i was wearing my mom's shoes today, and they're a bit too big.
but it's nice and quiet now. it isn't raining, but it's a gray afternoon.
it'd be nice to go for a walk. today.
or have hot cocoa and read. or something. but i'm not doing that obviously. i'm on the freaking computer instead.
computers bother me. we are far too dependent on them.
and they have a tendency to be irritating whenever i really need to use one. and again, it should be sort of obvious that this computer is not doing that. i like this computer
sorry i'm a bit random. never mind. why should i be sorry? it's not like you don't have a choice whether or not to read this. whoever's reading it. if anyone
so
what else is new.
did you know that 41% of all americans choose not to travel without a pillow. their own pillow. i'm like that. i love my pillow(s)
i have many of them
i procrasinate too much. so i've decided that i'm going to stop putting things off so much. tomorrow.
anyways... i should go. people to email, projects to stop avoiding. etc.. if you know what i mean.
