have done some serious eating today. Burly in particular. They're great to have around. Keep things lively. Brian was "make the Lord nervouuuuuuuuuus" in Burly speak, with that strange picture on Megan's cell phone. It was creepy. Looked like a black sword stuck up centered in front of him. Strange enough I had to speak the blessings over him. He joked about it but you could tell he was trippin on it a bit. Bothered me enough to make some declarations too. Enough weird things have gone on lately, I don't miss an opportunity to praise our protector.
I'm enjoying working with these backgrounds for my poetry. Got a lot of ideas to try out.
Back to work tomorrow. It's felt like Sunday, all day. It will not seem like Tuesday. At least my voice is back enough where I can answer the phones without being too embarrassed.
I have got my fill of Yahoo word racer again. I always forget how much I enjoy it. Actually won a couple of rounds too, even doped up and groggy on cold/flu meds.

smells so fine wafting over the garlic bread toasting...
Kim bought the fixings and Brian cooked it.
She had another crying spell missing Jarrod. Hugged her close again and told her to hang in there, just a few more days.
She really loves that boy. I hope he will grow up and make her a good man. She's sure stood by him. Made his day Saturday when he called and she was here asleep in Megan's room.
Myra made my day so much brighter when she drove down to see me because she read my blog and was worried about us. She is cheer in a dark haired package.

Even my fingertips are grinning while they type. Of course they don't match Megan's sewn on jagged grin.. lololol...
Well, my offer to sit on her while he checked out the stitch situation wasn't needed. pity, I was kind of looking forward to it. The stitches weren't too tight after all, lol, it just hurts bad because she hurt it bad. duh.
Logan got an honorary bobo bandage as officer of the watch.
Gotta go wash some official mama clothes to go see the jailbird.

Saturday embers

Kim's asleep on a pallet in Megan's room. Megan said she stepped on her face when the clock went off this morning. I found that a giggly statement to make about a friend asleep on your bedroom floor. She had to have three stitches at ER. One through the nail. Brian will cut them out for her next Friday, she said. Kim's mama took them out to eat last night. Joe had to go to the emergency room last night too, blood in his urine, they're thinking kidney stones.
Logan went potty all day yesterday! woohoo! had a few accidents but Elmo reassures him that's ok, lol.
Right now, I have no business navigating the minefield that is Chip's thought processes, so I shall stay at a distance and keep all prayers flowing but my thoughts to myself. That is altogether for the best right now. After rereading our last attempts to communicate, he's got a persecution thing going due to the many problems he's got at the moment and anybody attempting input will likely be targeted. Of all I sent, he focused on the one thing that will do him no good and render everything else I sent nil and void. I do still have enough sense left (barely) to step out of the way when I see a boulder rolling down the path of the hill I'm standing on. I may be a bit sluggish about it due to being so sick but sluggish is better than slugged, lol.
I got to meet Kathy's new boy! He's a cutie! They are a cute couple. He's got a bit of a yankee accent but it's cute too. Her car died on her at the Y Thursday night and she's thinking it's not worth the cost of resurrection.
Don't know how long Megan will be at work today with her finger zingered.
Heavenly Father,
It is so good to come into your life giving presence. I will enter your gates with thanksgiving and your courts with praise. I thank you for every circumstance of my life and in the life of my loved ones. You have made a way for me to enter into that secret place, the court of your favor and mercy and grace through your son, the Lord of your glory. I am in awe of the many revelations you are giving to your people right now. We stand before you in righteousness because of your decision to inpute righteousness to us through faith in the purity of your son. Right now, Father, I ask that every satanic hook be removed from Chip's body and mind that have attached himself through less than favorable appearing circumstances. Let faith break forth and the glory of your goodness shine upon him today warming his soul with joy and a new understanding of exactly what you're doing in his life through these trials. Help us all to focus on you and your goodness in the middle of any trials no matter how bad they get and give you the praise and glory you so richly deserve. I thank you for Jarrod's good news I just received and ask you to do a great work in his heart and cause him to lean on you more and more every day. Thank you for answering my prayers. Thank you for never leaving or forsaking us. Bless those in our lives who assemble themselves together outside of your counsel for their own purposes and bring them in with great joy (and with much angelic rejoicing) to know you and the beauty of your salvation. I praise you for giving me Isaiah 54 and decree in full agreement with those words that your word does not return void but accomplishes exactly what it was sent for. Amen
Brian will get some laughs (as we did) at my wonderful bandaging of her indignant digit. It is a most indignant digit. It will be an interesting show to watch him cut the stitches out next week, lol. I'm not sure if their newly blooming relationship could handle the demands of it. At one point it the pointer looked like a miniature flying nun, roflol and we both had a great laugh over it. I guess KimBurly will be staying again tonight. She's such a sweetheart. I need to get in the kitchen and cook up something good. Definitely cook up that last batch of brownies for dessert. Having Kim around so much helps our spirits while Jarrod's gone. I'm really looking forward to meeting her mother. She sounds like a wonderful lady.
8 DECREES FOR BREAKTHROUGH
These decrees are based on Psalm 91
1. I dwell in the shelter of the Most High and abide in the protective and victorious shadow of the Almighty. The Lord is my refuge and fortress. He is my God in whom I trust. (Based on verses 1,2).
2. The Lord Jesus Christ delivers me from every snare of the enemy. (Based on verse 3)
3. I am completely hidden under the wings of the Lord and He is faithful as my personal Shield and Protector. (Based on verse 4)
4. I am free from all fear. The enemy cannot harm me. Even when he tries, he fails. His strategies cannot approach me. I will see him fall by the hand of the Lord in my midst. Today, I am victorious. (Based on verse 8)
5. No evil befalls me. No sickness comes near my home. (Based on verse 10)
6. The angels of the Lord have been given charge over me to guard me in all my ways. They fully protect me. Many of them have been given charge over me and are in my midst right now. (Based on verses 11,12)
7. The devil is under my feet. I have been given power over him to trample him down. (Based on verse 13)
8. Because I love the Lord, He delivers me each day from every work of the enemy. I always walk in victory. The Lord sets me securely on high, answers me in trouble, rescues me and blesses me with long and abundant life. (Based on verses 14-16)
8 DECREES FOR BLESSINGS
These decrees are based on Deuteronomy 28:1-13
1. Because I believe in Christ who obeyed and fulfilled all the commandments, I am overtaken with blessings. (Based on verses 1,2)
2. I am blessed everywhere I go – in cities and in countries. (Based on verse 3)
3. My children are blessed. (Based on verse 4)
4. I am blessed with abundant provision. (Based on verse 5)
5. I am blessed when I go in and blessed when I go out. (Based on verse 6)
6. I am blessed with victory when my enemies attempt to come against me. They flee before me seven ways. (Based on verse 7)
7. I am blessed in all that I put my hands to do and I abound in prosperity. (verse 8,11)
8. The Lord has made me the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. He has opened the heavens for me that I might live under His continual flow of blessings. (Based on verses 12,13)

Heavenly father, I decreed these according to your faithful minister's instructions even though I had to croak them out with my laryngitis in full swing. I felt your warm smile at my faith to decree your word not only over my own life but my children's lives and I ask you to remind me every day to proclaim your words over our lives. Thank you for remaining faithful to a faithless generation. Amen

John was so funny, LSU ain't 2nd in the nation for nuthin...
They were even funnier wandering all over the building with cell phones in hand checking signals (new repeater installed) and then when he held his cell like captain kirk and tried to get scotty (can't be done, cap'n, can't be done!) to beam on his signal....
these guys are a hoot!
If I had a voice left, my laugh would have been loud and long!

Trust the LORD with all your heart, and don't depend on your own understanding.
God knows what's best.
Heavenly Father,
please bless that one person, the one that used the gift of words you gave us to try to strike a most terrible fear into a mother's heart for the safety of her only son. Please do something wonderfully special for that person today. In Jesus name and to the praise of the glory of His grace I pray. Amen.
