I can't even write about it. Not even to journal.
When I even try, I can't. I just can't.
So rich and yet so poor.
So much humor in it, yet totally private.
I don't know that I want to share it. Ever.
It's private. Want to hold it all close to my heart
and just relish the Ever Present, Ever Living, presence of this God
to us in our exile.
... but soooooo funny at times...
I can hardly wait to see what comes next.

I love my new job. I love my new job. I love my new job... but starting out new to this kind of business at the end of a quarter is a CHALLENGE.
Looking forward to vegging out the rest of the weekend...

I am stunned.
again.
I must be stunted to be stunned so often.
A doe crossed the highway in front of me
on a clandestine journey.
She ambled.
She wandered.
She looked around bewildered toward any alarm.
Yet only a few, maybe two hours ago I saw
exactly what that same gait would do if her offspring were
threatened.
Nothing but love and protectiveness embodied.
In a hart.
Literally, a hinds foot on high places.
Somehow I disbelieve the determination at this elevation
would have called her so strongly to stomp out any threat.
I really believe in disbelief.
It CAN cause chaos when love calls.
A doe crossed the highway
on hinds feet
of all things.

amidst it all.. 06/09/2010 10:01 p.m.
Luke 10:18
Jesus said, "I know. I saw Satan fall, a bolt of lightning out of the sky. See what I've given you? Safe passage as you walk on snakes and scorpions, and protection from every assault of the Enemy. No one can put a hand on you. All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God's authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you—that's the agenda for rejoicing."
Proverbs 18:10
God's name is a place of protection— good people can run there and be safe.
Psalm 34:7
God's angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray.
Exodus 15:12
You stretched out your right hand and the Earth swallowed them up. But the people you redeemed, you led in merciful love; You guided them under your protection to your holy pasture.
Ecclesiastes 7:11
Wisdom is better when it's paired with money, Especially if you get both while you're still living. Double protection: wisdom and wealth! Plus this bonus: Wisdom energizes its owner.
God has watched over me and mine so well, I am stunned. The one who spoke our
universe into being spoke these words over me and mine to watch Him bring His words
to pass...
that was a cute video response btw... lol, bring it on, lichtkind....

Galatians 3: 1 You crazy Galatians!
Did someone put a hex on you?
Have you taken leave of your senses?
Something crazy has happened,
for it's obvious that you no longer have
the crucified Jesus in clear focus in your lives.
His sacrifice on the cross was certainly set before you
clearly enough.
2-4Let me put this question to you: How did your new life begin? Was it by working your heads off to please God? Or was it by responding to God's Message to you? Are you going to continue this craziness? For only crazy people would think they could complete by their own efforts what was begun by God. If you weren't smart enough or strong enough to begin it, how do you suppose you could perfect it? Did you go through this whole painful learning process for nothing? It is not yet a total loss, but it certainly will be if you keep this up!
Thank you, Kathie! What a beautiful reminder!!! We forget soooo easily...
