I've posted a new vid for "From Hell to Heaven" which some might remember started life as a poem.

I'd be interested in reading comments.

Drowning
12/09/2008 09:50 p.m.
So this one is a collaboration. It's from Chris Griffey's poem, "drowning" which can be found here...

http://www.pathetic.org/poem.php?page=library.php&i_memberid=6287&i_poemid=1219771236&i_folderid=1160066869&mode=

I liked it the first time I read it and inspired me to do this...

Bouncy Billy Barrington
09/22/2008 06:06 p.m.
This is a kids song.

I can imagine this being sung by groups of kids like 'Row, row, row the boat'

Bouncy Billy Barrington

Bouncy Billy Barrington,
Forever accident prone.
For all his falling over
He never broke a bone.
He made an amazing discovery
At the age of ten,
When he took a nasty fall
And bounced right up again.

He'd fallen over the handlebars
Of his home-made bike,
But there was not a scratch on him,
The lucky little tyke!
He should have had some broken bones,
But he wasn't even bent.
Where Jack fell down and broke his crown
Billy didn't have a dent!

With this brand new talent
His mind began to race.
He brought a whole to meaning to
Pulling a funny face.
When he thought his flying mind
Had got right up and fled,
He grabbed a hold of his right ear
And wrapped it 'round his head!.

So he grew up on the street
with no money
For his payment was in knowing
that his stretchiness was funny.
He didn’t beg,
it just wasn’t his style
He was just happy
if he made you smile.

A new recording
08/06/2008 07:23 p.m.
I heard this for the first time the other day and I thought I would have to give it a go.

It was written by Paul Blegvad and I heard it by Loudon Wainwright III

Summer Songs is in the charts!!!
07/26/2008 01:00 a.m.
Don't be daft lol

What happened to all the summer songs?

What happened to all those summer songs?
And summers that lasted all summer long?
When everyone knew their neighbours names
and parents would join their kids in games.

I have these grainy memories
like those cinecam home movies
bursting with smiles and miles of bright sunshine,
you in your hand-me-downs and me in mine.

Taking a towel to the outdoor pool and
jumping from the high board like a fool.
Out in the sun running round, getting brown
without the need for lying down.

I have these grainy memories
like those cinecam home movies
bursting with smiles and miles of bright sunshine,
you in your hand-me-downs and me in mine.

All the kids would go out to play
and not go back in til the end of the day
with a handful of bluebells to keep your Mam pleased
so she'd not tell you off for the state of your knees.

I have these grainy memories
like those cinecam home movies
bursting with smiles and miles of bright sunshine,
you in your hand-me-downs and me in mine.

What happened to all those summer songs?
And summers that lasted all summer long?
When everyone knew their neighbours names
and parents would join their kids in games.

Summer, summer, summertime
Summertime.

Summer, summer, summertime
Summertime.

Nos Da Sunshine
06/30/2008 04:22 p.m.
Well I've never been pleased with it so I binned the old version below and re-did it. I'm still not happy with it but it's better than it was (I think).

Anyway, have a listen if you want and let me know what you think. That goes for my other rubbish too.

I am currently Disillusioned
I am listening to Nos Da Sunshine
