The characteristics of a young mind
So wild untamed and unconfined
Can’t be stopped can’t be trapped
Exceptional in its own way and passionate like nothing else
It’s like schizophrenics running in their natural habitat
With an imagination of unknown possibilities
Leaving most in awe as their originality parades on
With no care of what’s in their surroundings
No need for rules and regulations or even barriers
And time is of no importance going on at their own pace
But there are obstacles they must face
As the characteristics of a young mind
Can’t always be unshackled as life sucks up their innocence
And no longer young just aged and disheartened
The liveliness and free will slowly weakened away
As they grow from an adolescent uncontaminated mind
Into fully developed beings of corruption and soiled souls left behind
Because this corporate world keep feeding the youth toxic images
Of this so-called picture perfect life of self-indulgent hypocrites
And at the end all that’s left of these wonderful young minds
Are decaying corpse being controlled like hopeless marionettes
In this lifeless sea of incompetent imbeciles we call humanity
