A light house watch
Follows an enlightened light
For any possible prediction

A broad sweeping gaze
Following the lamp aglow
Seeks to confirm any abstraction

Such that anything within the light’s reach
Is displayed everyday in the dark of night
While the keeper surveils each collection

Of events both real or imaginary
Straining to discern the sanctity
Of the tumult swirling as hesitation

To act and risk warnings given
Will be rewarded or despised
While the light’s keeper questions

Whether to act or not
As the light house watch
Is a beacon of resurrection
