Across the horizon at the edge of night

Lay beautiful hues of ambers, reds, and yellows shining bright

The St. Lawrence flows under the western sky as another summer day says goodbye


Soon, darkness will bring a blanket of stars that comfort in the night

The river will shine under the full moon’s light

The soft sounds of the river as she finds her way to the shore

Summer’s winding down now, and you wish there was more
