I see protest signs
On main street city hall steps
Where people of age
Display their given rights

I see Revived industrial construction
That Gives a future of sorts
Where international companies
Place faith in American workers

I drive under multi million dollar
Airport runway lights
For a private airport
In front of a New Seven 11

I smell White lilies fragrance
From a Hazy visions distance
Salty fresh pretzels conjoined
With Bagels and cream cheese

At conrad Hinkle
I hear uncapped Citrus 
From sundrop fizz
I see Last tomatoes from the vine
And Denton white peaches

I smell hickory smoke
From a restaurant burning pit
Where pork barbecue reigns supreme
And hickory smoked chicken
Falls easily from the bone

I see fields evolving
Season over season
Cotton, corn, soy beans
Dairy cows a milking

I see a yard full of flowers
Trees and bushes blooming
Fruit trees burgeoning
With Indian peaches
And Barlett Pears

Humming birds
Blurred wings pecking ripe figs
Drinking provided sugar water

Squirrels jumping
Tree limb to limb
Tree limb to deck
Ripping stuffing
From old chair cushions

Ducks crash landing
In the muddy Yadkin
Blue Herons water wading
For their next meal
Chicken Hawks circling
Waiting to attack
Canadian geese flying
In formation, birthing babies
Attacking anything that approaches
Crapping every where they walk
Vultures doing what vultures do

I hear Train cars banging late night
From a Norfolk Southern
Switching station

I see Night visions of the full moon
Creating a brilliant reflection
Sparkling river water
Shimmering like diamonds

At times I see moon light lace
Intertwined with scattered clouds
As if the weaver of worlds is spinning

Miracles still do exist
In sounds smells
In Wildlife active and free
That I witness where calliope
Entices visions of surroundings
That is always changing
