Tinkered by an Electric Love by Kourosh Taheri-GolvarziO'er scrape of metal, blinks, and whirs, I see
You lovingly inside your lab. I've brought
Us dinner: meat and vegetables for me
And sili-gel for you. I ne'er forgot
Your tinlike giggle, bright with joy. The walls,
Adorned with welded hardware, hadn't hid
Your beeping heart or passion protocols.
So lost in kitchen magic, so we slid
Upon each other's arms and disappeared
Into a kiss. The gears and circuit boards
Inside you hummed and pulsed as I revered
Your warm bionic heart and I fell towards
Our volten love. So as we, in the mood,
Went to the bedroom, we forgot the food. 10/12/2021 Author's Note: For Zhuldyz Serikbolatkyzy
