Men created the world
Forgot the womb

Before wars he had peace

Enslaving enemies, spilling blood--
Before enemies, he was a good man

Waving flags, creating maps--
Before flags, all of earth was his

Building empires, making money--
Before empires, he was not poor

War of plunder, death of many--
Before plunder he was content

Rich against the poor, fighing to be free--
Before inequality he was free

Seeking meaning, in a lifetime--
The seeking is the meaning
