Back from zero

by Rebecca Andre

Build yourself back up from zero girl
Rediscover your sensual lines of self
You can't remember but it's still there in your flesh to find
This ankle torn from past conquests
This eyebrow punctured from inflated y.o.u.
(see we’ve done this before we can do it again)
Build yourself back up from zero girl.
The body knows the way.

I don’t care if its shit.

I curse like a sailor with no apologies but a heart full of love (not wooden- I'll burn the timbers when I find them)
(still feel the love anyway dare u)
I hurl it!
Filling in the black hidden bits of subconscious blank with it.

Its not words on a screen you know.

Curiosity, an opening, an unfurling, not a building but a sculpturecarvingunveiling
You’re seeing the shavings fall to the earth.
Build yourself back from zero girl.

(I don’t care if it's shit)

Gorgeous. You have starlight for blood, and midnight hovers gently in your soulful eyes.
