From the Day You Said Good-bye

by Thomas K. Hunt

From the day you said good-bye have you thought of me and cried
Do you still hold a feeling tell the truth please don’t lie
I still feel the connection and I wonder if you do
I have this never ending love that hurts my heart without you

Just to hold you, at least hold your hand
Let you feel my love
I wonder would you understand
Am I ever a thought that crosses your mind
Do you hold a reason from another time
Am I ever a memory that brings a smile your way
What do you remember can you pinpoint the day

Just to hear you say my name if only for a day
I have this need to know how you’ve made your way
Would you turn and leave like you did before
You need to know how now I need you more

From the day you said good-bye have you ever thought of me and cried
Do you still hold a feeling tell the truth please don’t lie
I still feel the connection and I wonder if you do
I have this never ending love that hurts my heart without you

I was never wondering it’s been my every passing view
My hopes and dreams all images of you
A constant from the day you said good-bye
I’ve wondered
Do you think of me and cry
