I was 17
I landed a job in NY

I was a errand girl
answered phones
hung up on Rock Stars
on a regular basic

I watched my boss
lose his mind

I ran around NY
in short dresses
with a lot of money

Gave "payola"
to the top DJ's
Tee shirts with drugs
in them
I did NOT do drugs
I was a bad hippie

I had NO fear
My boss told me that
if I got "popped"
He'd bail me out

At times
I was the only adult working

and I was a kid

My boss had lost his mind
Not his fault;
HEREDITY
He thought he was Superman

My favorite memory
that Summer
was playing Holly Golightly
I had breakfast at Tiffany's

I went in;
bought a key ring
in a pretty blue
Tiffany box

The Summer ended
I went to college
my crazy boss

...lost EVERYTHING
his wife:his kids
and his business

I had a great summer
learned about life

I would never really work again
Yep. it was a great learning experience

My boss ran away
He really was crazy

but it was worth it
Breakfast at Tiffany's

What could be better
than that??
