The world has changed
It seems like it has
been about 100 yrs
since I wrote the that poem

My youngest child is now 33
and finally doing well

It's hard to believe
that her whole life has been a battle
against the "family curse"-Addiction

She took her poison
had 2 kids
She cannot see

Doctor's do not listen
She told them- NO DRUGS-
but they insisted

Her second child was born
addicted- He suffered horribly
She cried, screamed and yelled;
to no avail- her addition continued

The problem just snowballed

She was clearly headed for a "fall"
She was free falling"
Her Son was ok
She was not

She needed recovery
and after a year-
the kids were taken away

She had to start over again

A recovering addict?

Does one EVER recover?

I Live in constant fear that the phone wsill ring...

Where the hell is my good little girl?
She is not bad
I will ALWAYS love her;
but She's lost

I need to know where she is
