bargain love

by Ava Blu

i bought it every time you said it the love, love you baby, always and forever i bought it like a fabergé egg you know you can't afford priceless ended up being a dollar store version of the real thing worthless
that’s who i am, baby i’ll take you for every inch but only at a bargain
i’ve used up all the coupons trying to buy my way into heaven i remember when it sounded so real, like the sound of footsteps on sand, i could feel the feet digging in, i could feel the squishing and the bite from the ocean breeze
i bought it every time you gave it the lies, the lies from you, baby, always and forever:
there are no refunds here.

Ava, This takes the snare and bass and devours them square in the face. Well done!
