I've got Captain Jack and there are sparrows in the sky
I use that one eyed pirate when I feel like getting high
I found him on a shelf winking his one good eye
When I brought him home he took me for a ride

The Captain and I became very good friends
I'd say in my top three he's all of them
He never complains when he's hit with the flames
Every time I hit him it's always the same

The sparrows take flight so beautiful in the night
I sit and gaze at this wonderful sight
I step outside and we go for a ride
I drift off with the Captain by my side

He's always there
He's at my beck and call
Day's go by and I don't see him at all
When it's time he takes me to my place
when I need to be in my own space

It's just me and the Captain
Sitting back making it happen
With the Captain in hand I make no plans
I know by now yes I understand

Captain Jack got me high tonight
I know you've heard that before
He gets bone dry if I don't score
He gets me rocking just outside my door

I pull him down from my shelf
when it's just me and no one else
In the quiet of the night I bring him to the light
I do no harm, I have the right

Take hold Captain I'm lighting you up
I'll just take one or two maybe three puffs
Here we go again
It's good to see you my one eyed friend

The Captain is polished
Kept like new
Never a problem of flowing through
Bring him down, fill him up then watch him glow
when he's all lit up

It's the Captain and I and the sparrows in the sky
We're sitting here rocking and I'm getting high
Captain Jack has navigated the night
He's got me high and feeling just right

It's just the Captain and me
He's on fire and I'm flying free
That one eyed pirate that rest on my shelf
I'm his only friend
He has nobody else

I've got Captain Jack and that's a fact
I've got nothing to hide
I light him up when I want to get high
There doesn't have to be a reason why
