orange blossoms

by Artur Desruisseaux

I get depressed every year as summer ends

maybe because when I was young

I had to go back to school

I didn't like that

I didn't like school

I didn't like being in the same room as everyone else

I didn't like everyone else

I don't know why

I'm not special

I'm nothing

I'm going to be living in a bigger place now

room to move about

for the last forever

I had no room

so I'm looking forward to that

As the weather changes I think of fall leaves

it reminds me of jazz

I think of horns no longer blown

so sad, everything is so dead

we need to keep blowing forever

toot your horn

tit your cup

piss your shit

keep it out of the olympics

keep it real

keep it young and dumb

keep it old and mold

oh well

rust never sleeps

charlie brown watch out

the great pumpkin will rise again

oh yeah, I used to care

but you know

things are different now

brown cow
