It is easy, it is comfortable
to hold you next to me
to share in life's ups and downs
now that, you and I, are we

I cherish every moment
no burden seems too much
With your supportive loving
I am energized by your touch

I'm proud of our successes
together our load is lightened
The ring upon my finger
its knot has only tightened

Even in moments of anger
when unwanted words can fly
causing suffering and heartache
I feel pain when I see you cry

Your smile lights the darkness
shining brightly inside my soul
Devotion like flying buttresses
supports us striving for our goal

Together we have become one
the binding true and complete
suffering all the trials and tricks
the union, strong, will not be beat
