The garden is in complete maturity for this year and season--
Flowers, fruits, vegetables, even visiting fungi.

The madness of the world as daily, incessantly depicted and described in every "news" medium, seems a distant place and time.

There is no time, here. The tall yellow-topped stalks, taller than I, are vertical in the middle of their stand, bend earthward at the edges. They nod, gleaming their certain presence, their absolute being.

Their certainty becomes mine, as well, delighting my eyes and nourishing my spirit.

This is the good news today.
