Children need to see the loving side of the family
They're our reason for being here
It's not the other way around

Children need to feel the love
We need to teach them what they need
Give them the fuel to feed their minds
Give them the choice when it gets to that time

Children need to be part of the family
There should be no other place to go
until they're ready and by then you'll know
They're our passion
We share their souls

God blessed us with our children
Gifts just for living and loving someone
We brought them here
We should show them the fears
we've learned along our own run

Teach them well
You may want to start with how to spell
You know how you get annoyed
It's embarrrassing if it's your own girl or boy

There's is nothing more precious
Then the children in our lives
Neighbors loving one another
Children growing side by side

Children need an understanding
There'll come a day when there's no more pretending
Prepare them well keep them blanketed with love
Remember they're all gifts from above

So love all your children
It doesn't matter who is at your side
We're all children having children
Longing to share that family pride
