These two lonely hearts beast as one
Harder and harder as we continue to run from these ghastly figured while done us wrong
Telling us we don't deserve this life we live
Constantly they beat us down with they're spectral fists
Though their hits may never really land,
We can hear the impact hitting us again and again
Leaving our souls bloodied and bruised
Beaten down and used.
But we stand up walking down these paths of what we have to do
You and I; we walk in the same shoes.
