E.A.

A final picture would Mark our place
could you see it before me
Those fake Smiles plastered on her face

And that photograph you took when that Polaroid printed out
did you finally say I don't need you anymore and I didn't hear you over the shutter snapping the perfect moment in my mind but a nightmare to you

When that door closed behind you when you turned to leave and assault the sky begin to fall
Then all the stars from Heaven soon began after

All these old photographs showing me the maps of your face slowly changing to resentment
while I was oblivious to the direction to we were going

All I did was smiling grit my jaw;
Played on a seesaw in my mind going back and forth thinking was it you or I who did wrong?

Leave me alone in the dark I felt so cold without my heart,
I hear you are out fishing; with flirting with the other dudes close to you.
while I go out go to work pay my bills and rent on time
But somehow didn't give enough of myself to you.

And now I hear you have yourself a new man on the line
I hope he's smart enough to see past those painted lips to see your forked tongue
Hiddenbin the stench of Lies floating from your breath,

Away from you I can finally breath again, if only for a second.
