Here we go again my friend
The neighbors are kicking it up again
There's a disturbance outside my door
It sounds like they're on my kitchen floor

I could understand it a couple of times a year
but every night their yelling fills my ears
In the light of day they're the sweetest pair
but when the moon comes up all they can do is swear

This wasn't part of the plan when we signed up for this deal
There's so many other ways on how to keep it real
Word challenges and layered music all laid down
Simple things that turn your frowns around

There's no need to lose control every night
There's no reason to scream and fight
Sit back and enjoy what you have
Look around you you'll see it's not half bad

Struggling is a part of life my friend
Don't let it get the best of you
Find your happiness in what you already have
Turn your anger around and just be glad

We're only here for a short time
We've all made choices
We've all changed our minds
There's no reason not to enjoy every night
No need for screams in anger, it's just not right
There's never a good enough reason to fight
