6/16/17 by Meghan HelmichMama's little baby loves bad boys
who don't kiss her when they're fucking her.
She reads volumes of poetry from dead hands
and cries at night thinking of loss.
She starts to get attached after only days
and wonders why they don't feel the same.
Staring at a handsome face until eyes meet,
hoping her charm is stronger than her sadness.
And if they have a girl, she tries even harder,
craving the inevitable rejection or original sin.
Reason to hate herself either way. 06/16/2017 Posted on 06/22/2017 Copyright © 2025 Meghan Helmich
