I just heard the rooster crow
I hope I hear him at the same time tomorrow
I wake at the break of day
My alarm lives in a bed of hay

Another day just began for me
Another reason to be happy
That old foul woke me up again
We've become lifelong friends

I was wishing just yesterday it would be nice to be here today
I'm living proof that wishes do come true

I watched the sun come up
I filled my coffee cup

My only view is from French Creek Bay

I step through my door into the light

The sun's in the sky for another glorious day
Reflections that sparkle like diamonds across the bay
Smiling faces lost in love and fun
Everybody enjoying everyone
