My Angel From Los Baños

by John Harder

I started to accept the fact
I'd always be on my own
Even relished in the thought
of living for myself
Doing things I want to do
with little reservation
Then out of nowhere
here she comes
my angel from Los Baños

I thought love was not for me
content with being lonesome
I was sure angels weren't real
but Geisha proved me wrong
They hail from a land of sun and sand
with ocean all around
Her beauty is beyond compare
Morena queen with mocha hair
My angel from Los Baños

Her smile lights the darkest room
and eyes, the stuff of legend
Her countenance is heavenly
I'm longing for her presence
I'm pining for things that could be
cautiously optimistic
Knowing love cannot be rushed
I'll wait eternally for a single touch
From my angel from Los Baños
