Love, I guess by Jayme L HelmickDid you ever love a boy
But knew he didn't care?
Did you feel like crying
But knew you'd get nowhere?
Did you look into his heart
And wish your heart was there?
Did you feel like crying
But knew you'd get nowhere?
Did you see him dancing
With the lights turned way down low?
Did you whisper "God, I love you!"
But never let him know?
Don't ever fall in love, my friend,
You'll find it doesn't pay
It always causes sorrow
And heartache everyday
Love is grand, but it hurts so much
And the price you pay is high
If I could choose between life and death
I think I'd rather die.

I originally wrote this (garbage) when I was in the 7th grade, but I'm tired of not being cited for it and I'm tired of people editing it from its original version, however awful it might be.
