These things that we’re going through
Are deeper than we would like
Especially hearing the radio
Blaring
Telling of the same incidents
Only maybe in different places
Or with different names
Associated
But that’s the real trick now isn’t it
Disassociating the me from the us
Because why is my neighbor’s business any of my concern
Especially when my life is so busy
With all of life’s little nuisances.
