it's a thought
and idea
something I fear
that I will pen
to a piece of paper
(or perhaps in a blank book)
I know that I should really look
before I leap
but instead I creep
into infinity
but not beyond

so I throw my words
against my wall
(you should see the mess!)
to this, I can attest
and the crumpled papers
though sometimes I shred
them
just to hear the sound of the shredder
the acute finality of the machine
I guess that this is another
attempt at ordering my confusion
