I saw a black hole appear a second ago
If you ask me what I'm thinking
I'd say I don't know
I looked down that hole and all my thoughts fell in
I not sure if they'll be back again

I just had to look
I wanted to be sure
I was hoping for a cure
I glanced down that hole
I had to look, that was all
I looked too long and my mind took a fall

I can't remember has it been that long?
I looked down and all my thoughts were gone
It's a mystery when it all comes down
They disappear without a sound

Excuse me, what were we talking about?
I'm finding it hard not to shout
I never wanted to go out this way
I wanted to remember each and every day

So many thoughts from so much time
Must they clear out to make room in the mind?
I'm still me but I'm not me
Without my thoughts how could I be?

Sometimes it's not by choice
I hear another voice
I can't remember if I've heard it before
I can't remember did I use this door?

I wasn't looking for the hole it came and found me
Now I don't remember where I'm suppose to be
Stay away from that hole if you know what's good for you
Keep all your thoughts just add the new

Is it short term or along for the haul?

I can't recall
All my thoughts just disappeared
