14 April 2016 by Leonard M HawkesO beautiful masculinity!
God’s own virtue bestowed
On chosen children
(Appreciation once denied
To half the world).
How is it that so many
Now reject you?
And like chameleons
Transmute their priceless gifts
To simply merge—
Or falsely assimilate form
To rectify confusion;
In spite of Mother’s choice,
The Father’s art,
And Nature’s will.
Still your outward tokens
Stir my very core:
Identity of eternity--
God's own image given
So generously to Man.
