If I let him see the real me
Will he want to stay?
Will he be different from all the others?
Will he be the one who will not walk away?

If I open my heart to him
And let him see my soul,
Will I be able to finally
Feel like I am whole?

If I let him know what has
Hurt me in the past,
Will this finally be the relationship
That I know will really last?

When I decide to show him
Every little part of me,
I hope that he will learn how to
Treat me right and not make me unhappy.
