Diverting

by Anita Mac

I am visualizing
your high noon
and dealing with
my sunrise.

I will send a smile your way,
I will wish I could see it all through your eyes
as I await yours in return.
The luster you see in me is
the intensity I see in you; and it is palpable.

Sometimes just Knowing makes me smile.

I am calculating
your midnight
and weighing it against
my sunset.

I will send you all my Warmth,
I will share the world I see
in shades of dusk and gray.
These are the hours in between,
the hours when you are most with me.

Please, don’t go Dark on me.

I am in the process of writing to a woman I haven't seen in sixty years and your makes me feel much the way I feel about her. It's a long story. We still exchange the rare email, both have been married and had children. I know she doesn't feel the way I do, just high school "friends".

A colour scheme that serenades the Senses

...makes me think about how a day ahead can really be a day behind, and there is no past, no future...only NOW and NOT now...and I am suddenly nostalgic for letter writing, and spending TIME with thought, thinking it through...momentus moments, monumental. Like. And Share.
