and her mouth

by Jared Orlando

When they ask me,
I say something rushed like,
um her eyes,
and they ask what?
what about them?
and I spill out,
they are brown.
REALLY brown.

And without provocation
I sputter, oh!
and her mouth!
her teeth are so comfy behind it.
her mouth is smiley and, and
brilliant.

As if right on cue,
the REALLY brown eyes,
the smiley and brilliant mouth cometh.
She was walking as if
sheer curtains were rollicking behind her
in slow motion.

She came up to me,
with a peck on my cheek and asked,
aren’t you a little too old for that?
She slapped my ass,
it made a cracking sound,
and she went back into our bedroom.
