thousand miles reflection

by H.M Stevens

My life, more important than mine- to others and thine

I could die and you

could celebrate

Continue the sequence without

It's rather just an era anyhow

You had me for a squeeze, some

more than others

(Well there's that)

The grand stories

And laughters

Ah, a memory!

And in present: what-would-she-do?

The time and heretofore none of it

eternal

My eggs, a feigned frozen wonder

This posthumous procreation attempt

Shall the child know thy mother

through soul and unexplained spirit

So I left you

A moment too soon

Unintentional, wild, unthought and

swirling

Blinking light in your sky
