Confusion Endurance

by Rob Littler

It took lifetimes
To figure this out:

Starting from a place
Of love—of all-encompassing
Benevolence—teaches hate
Anger Betrayal Sadness…

And if each day begins seeing
Bleak drudgery, love will have all
But vanished.

For it is darkness that is
Most abundant—these eyes,
So accustomed to sight, grow
With the borrowed light of a
Dying Sun.

"For it is darkness that is Most abundant" - Yes, it is. The question is: how do we find light when all we know or can see is darkness? Beautiful words.

I needed this. Thank you. Always harness the lightness to stay afloat.
