the loneliest beer in the world

is the one I left on top of the bar

un-drunk

with change left over from a $20

the loneliest beer in the world

is the one she was drinking

while a fat girl in pink was singing karaoke

and guys in their early 20's playing pool

and the lights way too bright!

she wanted to meet for a drink after she got stood up earlier

from some jerk she said

I made eye contact with her and left

almost knocking the fat girl in pink singing karaoke over

that makes two of us...

if there is a hell, I am going for sure!

at home I opened a new beer and thought

what a horrible person I am

I deserve this sad life, with everything just the way I left it

same sock on the floor

same crooked picture that needs dusting

same everything
