forever trapped in a cage, my own mental prison
alone behind bars of desires and forbidden visions
dreamed by a head filled with your dangerous curves
a solid pillar of fire so easily swayed by your swerves
to be blown out of control through your uncharted rain forest
driving down hi-ways where the valley sinks deepest
then up through the hills over the peeks in the sky
and back down to depths that make you feel high
free me from my dungeon of fantastical games
rain down a storm to douse this pillar of flames
or show me it's real, that I'm not alone
I will drop to my knees at the foot of your throne
