Is the person I am
Distorted in my head like the voice
I hear on my answering machine’s greeting
Strange and unfamiliar
Yet somehow still me
If I live my life being able to view myself
Like so many vhs home videos
Watching my actions and my gestures
Would I still maintain the point of view
I have today or would I cringe and adjust my actions
Accordingly.
