Graybows Spill Teardrops Across My Thirsting Lips

by JJ Johnson

My blood spills to read of love and happy hearts in sync
Even secret crushes that never find their passionate link
Hold out hopes of hooking up as desires inspire their muse to rhyme
Unlike mine that never blooms and is declared a cyber-crime

So why now do I allow my heart to fall so harshly spurned?
Knowing the grade I justly earned for lessons never learned
I can't stop the endless flow pouring from my holy soul
Filling hidden caverns that tempt me down your loving hole

I need to drink from this fountain of inspirational verse
Where your nectar sprays colors into my gray shaded multiverse
I need your suffering tears to satisfy my passion with your pain
I want to quench my craven thirst with your sweet and salty rain

You have some interesting choice of imagery. "your nectar sprays colors into my gray shaded multiverse," very nice.
