Who are the real heroes these days?
What kind of heroes do we need today?
Who believes in Batman and Superman too?
Are these fantasies worth looking up too?
What are heroes really made up of?
Are they strong and good to love?
We watch TV and think of a figure as a hero,
To others they are worth zero.
Some people do not believe in heroes today,
So the idea just fades away.
Some like the way others are,
Other’s don not, so they always carry an internal scar.
In today’s day in age people do not like heroes,
But to me my hero is not a zero.
My hero does not preach,
My hero loves to teach,
My other teacher is stronger than a sword,
Can you guess who? I will tell you, it’s the Lord!
