My heart has only been broken really once and it took sometime to get over the feeling of my chest wanting to open and everything inside wanting to run out. I for one could never become accustomed to it although sometimes if I had a bit too much to drink I can still feel a lump in my throat which is a precursor to that other feeling. I would rather go to the grave than carry that other feeling for even as long as I did. Hope you have a better year starting in a few days!
