It is often hard
to say goodbye,
When it comes to letting go
It is hard not to cry.

Trying to remember all the
good times that we spent,
It is hard to realize how
fast the time went.

Hoping that the memories
of the loved ones will last,
It is hard to keep
living in the past.

From the time that the sun rises,
till the moon and the stars shine bright,
It is hard having to deal with the fact
a certain loved one will not be here for one more night.

When trying to ask God why this had
to happen to a wonderful family,
He tries to reassure them that he
understands why they are so unhappy.

He promises to take care of them until
they cannot hold on anymore,
All they have to do is knock
and he will answer the door.

Blessed is the one who has the
courage to shed a tear,
Helpless are the ones who
always cower in fear.

What will happen to that special loved one,
is only something God can see,
All we can do is hope they are an angel
in Heaven and are happy.
